Billing Questions

If you are billed for Sanitary Sewer service on your monthly City of Tampa utility bill, contact Wastewater Collection at 259-1693 for the following reasons:

• Sewage Back-ups/Stoppages.  Open your cleanout (diagram) if you have one at your property line and verify that water is not draining (All drains plugged, call Wastewater Collection.  One drain plugged, call a plumber)
• If water is rising from the Sanitary Sewer manholes in the street, easement, or alley
• Cave-ins are occurring over Sanitary Sewer lines in the street, easement, or alley or there is a cracked or broken line or depression occurring on City property
• A Sanitary Sewer manhole cover is missing or damaged
• People are illegally dumping waste materials into the Sanitary Sewer manholes
