2008 Exhibition Schedule
Site-Specific Installation for the New TMA
October 3, 2008 - January 4, 2009
The TMA will invite regionally and nationally recognized
artists to react to Stanley Saitowitz’s design and program for the new museum
facility by proposing site-specific artwork for its public spaces. Once the
building is open to the public, one or more of these proposals will then be
commissioned to be built for display. Artists may respond to the TMA’s
collection, its location, and/or its role in the community in addition to
Saitowitz’s architectural and interior designs.
