In the Galleries...

Exhibitions are the most exciting part of a visit to the Tampa Museum of Art. Within seven galleries, the Museum shares the best of its own permanent collection along with an exciting series of special traveling exhibitions from a variety of national and international art sources.  Current exhibitions present a broad range of classical, modern, and contemporary art.

The Joseph Veach Noble Collection is on permanent display in the Classical World Gallery. One of the finest collections of Greek and South Italian antiquities in the Southeast, this collection has become an attractive focus for visitors seeking to learn about the cultural roots of Western civilization.  Also, information on our antiquities can be found as part of our Permanent Collection page.

Selected exhibitions from other special areas of the Permanent Collection — nineteenth century to contemporary American paintings, sculpture, photography, and works on paper — are displayed on a regular, rotating basis.
