Utility billing for the City of Tampa is the responsibility of the Revenue and Finance Department's Utility Accounting Division. Most of the City's utility customers receive a consolidated monthly bill for three utility services--Water, Wastewater and Solid Waste. The average residential bill is $65-$70. The Division reads over 135,000 water meters bimonthly in a 110 square mile service area, and prepares and mails bills monthly. Estimated Fiscal Year 2006 billings are $194 million.
